Life And Deeds Of Khalid Bin Walid
First it’s important to remember that the goal of Islam is not to fight but to invite others to its practice in a
peaceful way. Khalid Bin Walid was one of the Ashab Keram who devoted himself to spread Allah’s
message
to the people. When he became a Muslim there was a big change in Islam, including the quantity and
quality of its followers, as well as a change in the behaviour during the invitation of non-Muslims to Islam,
which was not done through war and conflict but in a peaceful and respectful way. Only when they faced
an unjust violent reaction did they respond with force. That is why Khalid Bin Walid was known as
Saifullah, The Sword of Allah and Zulfqar
.
The campaign of the enemies of Afghanistan and the figure of Khalid Bin Walid can’t ot be compared
because Islam’s goal is saving and rescuing people form ignorance, slavery, torture and killings. Khalid Bin
Walid’s efforts to praise and voice Islam was not done through killing innocent people, and his armies never
conducted suicide attacks or acts of terror. When Khalid Bin Walid sent his army to an area, he always
made sure his men didn’t harm or kill innocent people -and therefore always respected women, children and
elders- and never allowed fighting or killing anyone who was in a prayer building, Mahabid, even if they
were non-Muslims.
The name and life of Khalid Bin Walid can’t be compared with the acts of those who are killing innocent
people and even religious scholars. Of those who attack mosques and kill mullhas and teachers and destroy
schools.
